Hi, I’m John Spencer

I’m a former middle school teacher and current full-time professor who is passionate about seeing teachers empower their students with voice and choice.  I’m also the author of the best-selling books Launch, Empower, and Vintage Innovation.

Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work with organizations all over the world, including Hong Kong, Australia, and the Netherlands. I also spoke at the White House on the empowering students with voice and choice. If you’re looking for an energizing and practical keynote or workshop, click here to submit a speaking request.
