About Crystal Frommert

Crystal Frommert, M.Ed, has over 24 years of experience as an educator. Crystal has taught math in public, parochial, and international schools. Beyond teaching, she has served as an instructional coach, school board member, adjunct college instructor, technology coordinator, and deputy head of secondary. She is the author of the 2023 book When Calling Parents Isn’t Your Calling: a teacher’s guide to communicating with parents and a frequent contributor to Edutopia. Crystal currently is a middle school math teacher/administrator in Houston, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and dog.
